Cominly SMS Program

How members opt in to text messages from Cominly, what we send, and how to stop.

Cominly is a private community app operated by Shashitu Enterprises LLC. Members may optionally add a phone number to receive important text-message (SMS) alerts from their community. Adding a phone number is voluntary and is never required to use the app or a condition of any purchase.

How you opt in (consent)

Consent is collected inside the Cominly mobile app. A member opts in by taking these explicit steps:

  1. Create a Cominly account, or open Profile → add phone number.
  2. Before saving, the app shows the SMS consent disclosure (below) and the member taps to agree and save their number.
  3. For urgent mutual-aid group texts, a member also joins a specific group whose admin may send claim alerts; members can leave the group at any time.

These are the exact kinds of messages Cominly sends. Messages are transactional and community-related — never third-party marketing.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your community's activity. Verification codes are sent only when you request them; mutual-aid alerts are sent only when an admin raises an urgent claim.
